It's MY Country.

I'm reluctant to post a political journal, but want to say just a few things. First, I voted against Trump. I didn't vote "for" Clinton; I voted against Trump. But he won. That's how Democracy works sometimes. In the best of cases in the U.S.A., about 50% don't like the outcome.
So, is Trump my president? Well, not today, no - but in January he will be. I still won't like him, but I will give him a chance to see how he leads the country. I did the same with Bush. My feeling is that this is MY country and I want MY country to succeed, regardless of who the president is. Trump may be the least-qualified person ever to hold that office, but I do not want America to suffer for it (or from it). I know I won't support many of Trump's policies, but my hope is that he will conduct himself in a manner that does not shame America.
In four years we'll have the opportunity to either continue with his path or choose another. I simply want the country to not become a tattered laughingstock to the rest of the world.
I will not blindly support Trump, by any means. But he is my president and this is my country.

But yeah, the lawsuits would be a concern ...
*nods* Yeah. It's going to be interesting.
Overall, I think I have deeper concerns about Pence's anti-gay stance. Hope he does what most good vice presidents do: Nothing!
My point is whomever won, this is still my country. That's it. As I said I did not vote "for" Clinton, and whatever differences we have concerning the two is simply our own opinions. I'm not going to discount how you come to your views.
Basically, the election aftermath has been a bit of a litmus test to see who takes it like an adult and who, well, does not.
I also guess if things gt to bad, you can always take the easy way out - through a nic, hungry predators maw?^^
They'd better, because in 4 years is the next census/redistricting
In 2010 Obama's overreach made the Congress Republican, and they're the one's who redraw the district lines - i.e. gerrymandering - which is one reason you can win the popular vote and still lose the Electoral College, as well as Congress seats :/
