I've been told my white privilege doesn't let me view the hardship of the lesser "races" a couple times tonight....I'm irish, what fucking privilege did my people have during the troubles, or when we came to this country and got throw right back into the mud.

My thing is this, don't argue politics if you don't understand them, don't simply assume things based on fear. Because you read it on the internet.

Someone told me I don't know what it means to be oppressed....I'm irish, we had bombs dropped on our people during the 1960's, while tanks and soldiers murdered us. My ancestor gave blood at somme, war hero he was, 1918. Killed by the very crown he fought for. Because someone said he was IRA with no proof.My family gets deported, on a ship expected to be sank by the germans. It didn't...we land in boston. Get the same treatment by the US government that the british gave us.
