I believe the secret in painting is to find and master your own specific style of blending. Blending all hues of color; may it be the lighting and shadows.

There's two types of blending.. uhhh.. are you using photoshop? xD 'cuz i'm using photoshop:
1. Smudge tool, there are specific brushes out there used for blending while in the smudge tool option, here's one that i use: http://zeth-09.deviantart.com/art/Z.....-2-0-377274441
2. Any round brush with lower opacity. You can "blend" colors by trying to mix them using this method too! That's how http://sakimichan.deviantart.com/ does her blending in her tutorial :3

But on my experience, patience and discipline is required in painting digitally. There will be lots of time where the outcome wont be on your favor, but we have to understand that its okay and we're improving, but its inevitable to feel annoyed at yourself though xD i mean.. that's what happen to me most of the time on my learning time, even up to today >_<
