Ignore- Ranty Thingy, Rather Political

So. Donnie won.
I spent a good day fucking terrified. I am an American and I do not want to live under Trump's America. Life would be dangerous. I wanted to leave.
But then I stuck my courage to the sticking place, I, we, have never been cowards. And I won't be one now, not when people need all the help they can get.
I have always been extremely stubborn. For once, that's a good thing. I will stick hard to my morals. I will fight. I don't know how, it seems rather hopeless. But damn if I won't try with ever fiber of my being. If there's one thing I've learned it's that you NEVER give up, and if you go out you don't go easy.
If you are LGBT, or poc, or Muslim, or disabled, or anyone else Donnie has tried to hurt: My profile and streams are a safe place. I will not tolerate any hate speech against you. Stay safe, all of you.
Because I am female, Donnie's supporters will call me a bitch. And they can do that, but what they can't do is determine what kind I will be. And I promise that I will fight like a bitch straight out of hell to keep our rights. On my honor.
Quick story- I work at a Girl Scout camp. I am responsible for keeping the next generation of women in this country safe, optimistic, and prepared. More than that, I'm responsible for lighting a spark in them, for making sure they leave my care knowing they can do and be anything they want. We have a ropes course there, where we teach them leadership, teamwork, trust, problem solving, ect. We have one challenge called the Spider Web, where the girls need to be lifted into the air and through small holes by their cabinmates. It takes six girls to lift one through. One at the head, one at the foot, and four at the sides. The four at the sides face each other, two and two. They place their arms between the arms of the person across from them, so one girl's left arm is next to her partner's left arm, then the first girl's right arm then her partner. This creates a sort of bed. The girl being lifted trust falls into them, and they lift her as though she were as light as a feather. All of the girls take chances lifting and being lifted. What I'm getting at here is that we can lift each other. Support and help each other through these next four years. We will make it, so long as we are unified. Don't give up, the world needs you so much. And we can make it to 2020 together.
I am first and foremost a Girl Scout, and no "President" will take that from me. I have my honor, my dignity, the law I live by, and the vows I took. Below is the vow I took in order to become staff, and I live by it every day. As these words were said, my candle in the dark was lit and I was welcomed as a full member of my community. I hope these words can help inspire you today.
1. Uphold the highest ideals of womanhood as expressed in the Promise and Law
2. Be thoughtful and considerate and assume my share of responsibility in the activities of my camp
3. Be a better citizen of my community and prepare myself for the duties and responsibilities of adult citizenship in a democracy
4. Realize my deep commitment to volunteer my services wherever and whenever needed
5. Keep myself healthy and the world around me as safe as I can make it
6. Seek new knowledge and the skill to use it
7. Increase my knowledge and understanding of the peoples of the world toward the goal of peace
8. Prepare myself for the future
Before I leave this, one last thing. Ol' Donnie says he wants to grab us by the pussy. Well, this pussy bites back.
