Hah, isn't it shocking? I'm sorry....
With all of the hyperbole and outright lies surrounding this, I'm not surprised that folks living in that unfortunate bubble feel fear over it. Once they see the truth in action, it'll be a lot better for 'em.

Not to mention what a better economy and work environment will do for everyone. Let's get it done.

They won't ever calm down. It was like this when Bush was President too (only worse now). They were so convinced Bush was going to be the next Hitler that they could justify any action. I've seen one liberal post messages for folks to calm down and stop worrying; I've seen a bunch of others (and journal comments) that are insane.

I was around for that too. I don't remember people smashing cop cars and burning down buildings for 4 days in a row after they lost an election. I'm genuinely scared about where this leads.

Where does it lead? A bunch of grown men and women throwing temper tantrums of 5 year olds that didn't get what they wanted and what do you do with a child throwing a tantrum? You discipline them and that's what will happen, it's time to break out the big belt of America and discipline some little whining brats

I know that before this election I was quite frightened about what was coming. I had sort of resigned myself to Clinton as President. I'm thrilled to know that won't happen! I'm not sure what Trump will do just yet, but I feel confidant that he's going to be a much better President than everybody's expecting.

We have avoided evil for now. But we must be on guard that it does not rise again.

We'll see. This sort of over-reaction to an election and is unprecedented, as with all the extreme personal smears. I have a bad feeilng about where this goes. Lets not forget that an ultra-controversial presidential election is what kicked off the last Civil War.

If you mean me, I wasn't saying use violence, you know that "the belt" can be a metaphor, by no means do I mean use violence, should these roiters have to have consequences for what they're doing? Yes, they should have to fix and pay for the damage that they did, cause, hopefully, that'll teach them a lesson to not act like 5 year olds when they lose

I think our disagreements are mostly theological in nature (and the consequences that arise from those disagreements).

Thank you for that. The desire to completely bring Christians to heel on those issues and others is one thing that drove me away from liberals too.

Yeah, I keep the battle flag fatigues as pure agitprop, but it's kinda hard to be both imperialist and engage Southern apologetics. If I'd been born then, I'd probably have migrated to Baltimore where the racism was no better but at least the state thought long term.
