This was aimed at Hillary supporters, but it applies to anyone who believes in Big Government.
"Do you feel it? Do you feel that cold knot of fear cementing itself in your belly? Do you now FINALLY understand what we were talking about when we lectured you on the dangers of executive overreach and governmental excess? Do you now finally get what we are saying when we say tell you that whatever power you give government to do things for you, in proportion you give them power to do things TO YOU? Are you getting the message now? Do you now understand with terrible clarity why we say what we say when we tell you government has grown too large and too obtrusive?
"We warned you when the IRS was used as a political weapon, and you ignored us. We rang the alarm bells when the BATFE took it upon itself to redefine parts of the law at will, and you called us nutjob conspiracy theorists.You continued to push.
"You wanted government to come in and fix everything. You were so convinced that if you just got the right people in charge and gave them enough power, that everything would be fine.You wanted the government to control education. You wanted them to control healthcare. Do you still want that? Do you now see how quickly your greatest dream can become your most terrifying nightmare?
