Critique event!

Looking for constructive feedback on my works to push myself to the next level of skill and running a little event as incentive. Here's how it works.
Pick two works in my gallery, one you think is the best, one you think is the worst and give me a detailed critique on each. I am really looking to improve, so the more detailed the better!
In exchange, you'll win a 5 x 8 pencil sketch of whatever you want! If enough people take part, I'll upgrade one of the sketches (randomly chosen by die roll) to a full inked picture or even a colored picture depending on how many people respond! Since a lot of people are both here and on deviantart, you can do both and receive a second sketch, but you must choose different pictures on the two sites.
Thanks!

My favorite art/story is definitely the Halloween arc you did, Moonlit Tavern. It did a really good job of blending the art and the story together to tell a tale that neither could accomplish alone. The written part had insights into the thoughts and clear descriptions of the action the characters were doing, while the art showed things that the character didn't notice, such as the other patrons changing in the background. It was done well enough that you could follow the story with just the words or the art, but paying attention to both got you more detail and/or depth out of the story. In addition I simply enjoyed the story being told. It was fairly straightforward, but it showed a lot of the setting and the two characters with a minimum of exposition.
I can't really point at anything as the worst and offer critique. Moonlit Tavern is what made me follow you, and looking through your archive there isn't much else like it. Some of it I like, others not so much, but it's less because of some error that I can critique and mostly just because of personal preference. The closest I can say towards things I dislike is that I prefer art that has a little blurb under it giving context or a micro story to the art. Y'know, stuff like the vigor series, with each one having a name and logo for what transformed the character. It gives me a reason to scroll down and sometimes makes me chuckle or go "ah so that's whats going on". Other art just has "commissioned by so-and-so" which is fine but less interesting then art that provides context.
What would you like for you sketch?
Hrm... how about my D&D character? I do an online play by post game and it'd be nice to get some art of her. Her name is Stohp, a female Minotaur rogue. She's 7' 3'', which is actually very short for a Minotaur in this setting, with short, light brown fur. Most of her kind have long, pointed horns they can use to gore their enemies, but Stohp grinds hers down so that they're no danger to anyone; something considered almost sacrilegious in her homeland where horn size is a point of pride. She wears a simple outfit that any commoner might wear, but a keen observer may notice the leather armor underneath and her various concealed weaponry (if that's to hard to draw/make clear in pencil, just put her in leather armor with her weapons showing). She has a hat perched jauntily on her head, a magical item that lets her change appearance at will (no idea what the hat looks like; you decide!). On her chest is pinned a badge for the Adventurer's Guild; a picture of which can be seen here http://www.woldiangames.com/Woldipedia/index.php/File:NewWLAlogo.jpg
Also, with 5 entries (which you are actually #5!) I am going to randomly select one of the sketches to upgrade to full inked lineart. With 10 entries, I'll make one full colour and one inked, so spread the word! The more responses I get, the better your chances for an upgraded picture!
