Yes that's right, Vixen games is NOT dead, just resting whiles I get moved to bigger and better places.
First and most important, I have bought the Indie Licence for Neo Axis, making it our official engine. This means i have better access to code and support.
Second, we have our first real model almost complete, and of course it is me =P

I'll have a you tube vid up soonish once i get the fight system working proper with the updated engine. Keep watching for more updates!

...Hell, thinking about it, us furs are usually surprisingly good at and serious about characters, what they (can) do, and how they do them...Since fighting games rely on those things, with story (another good furry thing, especially if one goes in the right direction) helping the better ones, I'd say this game should turn out magnificently, especially for an Indie title.
Of course, that's just looking at the model, there. Thing is, I've never heard of Indies being that devoted. (But, then, well, I dunno much about Indies.) I really can't wait to see how this turns out. :)
And you have to buy rights to an engine? Hmm...I thought you were doing it on your own...Well, I guess it'd be pretty hard, given how many games run off a same engine (see the Half-Life and Unreal engines).
AFAIK most Indie devs are VERY devoted. For example the devs for World of Goo, Audiosurf, and a few other small but VERY good games out there that have awesome devs. I plan on making something on par with those types of games if at all possible.
The only major holdup right now is that i am the only programmer, so coding things in takes FOREVER (buzy/lazy all that )
Truth be told, I wanna make great games, too. I have an Action OR Turn-Based RPG (that's very furry!) in the works, a Puzzle-RPG (as in it includes puzzles in them in a way I haven't worked out) somewhere in my mind, and a Puzzle game actually fairly along concept-wise.
But y'know, even if I can't get 'em out, I'd be pretty happy helping make a great game with someone. :)
(And don't worry, I'm lazier than you are ;P)
