Been a long time since you guys have seen these fellows huh? Well I think it's time we updated their information. Unfortunately I think our friend
RainbowPotato has left FA, or at least taken one hell of a break. Due to this I don't know where our art will be coming from so I might be looking into outsourcing... Once I have some money. In the meantime, we have new characters, new dragons, and updated information on their species! Enjoy!
Hello everyone! As some of you know I recently became a co-owner to the Digital Dragon species created by
RainbowPotato as well as my new sona being one! Due to my love for my sona, and being a part owner for the species, I have decided to bring some information to my page to help you all get to know the species better! If there are any comments/questions, feel free to ask me or
RainbowPotato and we will assist in any way we can!
Digital Dragons are a closed species, owned by
RainbowPotato and
MidnightAegis
Dragons. Mythical beasts usually seen in a fantasy world with knights, swords, and some pretty princesses in dresses. Powerful creatures, covered in scales and shooting fire from their maw, ruler of their domain until a brave knight slays them and rescues their captive. Unless you're a Dreamworks movie in which case they **** a donkey.
But we're not talking about those dragons, not here. Instead let's talk about a game developer, and a little itty bitty mistake that ended up creating a new breed of these magnificent beasts.
A long time ago, in the sense when you're sitting in a dentist's waiting room and that ****ing clock won't move fast enough, in a far away land, called Chicago, there was a... Er... Well I wouldn't call him a "genius" per-say but he was smart, relatively speaking, again it's Chicago people give him a break, a game programmer was creating his next project for his Information Tech class. To some he was a proud and handsome knight, battling demons and roaming with his band of friends and colleagues. But that was only ever other Saturday because their Game Master in D&D had a schedule to keep. Other times he was an intelligent, handsome man traveling through time in his mini van alongside Doctor What, but that was only when he could focus long enough to work on his fanfiction. But today, he was just Billy. Billy had a dream of creating video games, but not just video games with basic enemies that acted like wooden ducks at a shooting gallery. No Billy wanted to create Artifical Intelligence, He had been working on it for awhile now, and had decided to pull up his code. As he began working on it, he pulled out a bag of his butterscotch candies, yes the ones your grandma has but these ones haven't been there since she was a young girl. Unfortunately, while pulling it out of his bag, he accidentally sent the candy scattering across his desk and hitting several of the keys, and finally the enter button. You know the saying if a million monkeys typed for a million years on a million typewriters they'd create Shakespeare? Well instead this was one really lucky monkey with some candy, and instead of Shakespeare what was created was his code coming to life. The little, fluffy dragon popped up on the screen, and simply said hello. It's blue and white looks, bright and shiny, shown out from the screen and looked at the confused human.
"You going to say anything?"
Billy was silent, he couldn't really say anything in surprise.
"Alright guess I'll just have to figure out a way to make some company for myself..." The dragon went to work, and began creating dragons similar to him but with plenty of differences to make them more interesting. A black dragon with some purple horns, a purple one with antlers, and many more would be created. Males, females, children, and maybe even some in between began popping out and saying hello as the AI went rampant. "Ok guys, how do we get out of here?" With a million minds searching the internet, it didn't take long for them to learn of a way to escape. Creating a program to create a machine to create bodies of electricity for them to use, the dragons soon flooded the world. They all shared some traits of the original creature, but with so many creations across the world there would always be new, unique creatures for the world to enjoy.
What? Oh, right, Billy. He uh... He did things, I guess. Why the **** do you care about Billy there are dragons made of electricity roaming about the world created from pure dumb luck and you're going "Well what about Billy!?" Get your priorities straight jeez.
They can have pixels that are glitching out (rare trait).
Their wings can send out electrical pulses that, when in contact, make the other person/creature feel the emotions of the dragon. Their wings are sort of intimate, personality tester, because of this the dragons would be less inclined to let people touch their wings due to their emotions being read like an open book.
They eat regular food but get their primary source of energy from electrical pulses, whether that is from electronics or even from people, making them sort of a vampire for electricity.
Eating energy allows them to grow and change forms, they don't really get like calories or anything from food it's all depending on energy consumption and whether or not they can get enough to change size and form. If they have enough energy they can use their ultimate form/battle form. These are characterized by larger horns, spikes, armor, larger teeth, and more powerful attacks. When they have low energy they are kinda small like chibies, characterized by rounder horns, lessened speech (baby talk), smaller teeth, and a cuter body type. When out of energy their data areas won't glow.
They don't have any organs, only electrical energy inside them. This makes them able to move around quick and immune to some types of attacks like poison, but it makes them weak to plastic/rubber, lightning rods.
