Okay so last week, I typed out what I thought was an attempt at being hopeful and standing united as the country is likely going to go in the shitter. Embracing your fellow man regardless of color or creed, but tonight I'm in kind of a pissed off mood, because I want to talk about something related to that.

I'm going to make this very clear. I don't care who you voted for, or whether you're a democrat or a republican, conservative or liberal. I don't. What matters most to me is whether or not you're acting like an asshole. I don't want to name names, but I read back-to-back journal entries lately from an artist I recently started following. He outed himself as a "Fiscal Conservative" and then proceeded to explain why Trump in office is a good thing...and then it boiling down to "Because I get more money!" Nevermind the fact that in his previous journal, he pretty much wrote a whole diatribe on how "That's what you get for being offended HAR HAR SJWS AMIRITE?" I've chosen to un-follow this artist, and have removed his art from my favorites. Because I AM offended. I am offended because this artist believes that by saying whatever he wants, that it is likely he will get money out of me. He will not.


Now as I said before, I do not care what your political stance is. If you voted for Trump, then fine. Congratulations on your guy winning. However if you want to convince me that his term as president is for the best, I advise you do more than take cheap shots at people who are outraged at everything he has said, and everything he is promising to do that hurts people who are not in yours or his position. Much like how if you're an artist and you want to convince me to pay you for a commission, I advise having a pleasant and welcoming personality to back up your skills with a tablet.
