Thoughts on the 2016 US Election (10 days late)

I sure hope nobody passes a law that calls for imprisonment or execution of LGBTQ+ people.
It sure seems like the US may be headed about 50+ years into the past, though. With real-world 2016 consequences too.
I'm trying not to think about it too much, for reasons related to anxiety.
Anything else I can say probably has already been said already. If it hasn't, I'm probably not clever enough to word it constructively.
