exactly. if it's bad then it's bad and nobody will care. if it's good then it'll help introduce more people to the franchise.

You see people giving up on a whole franchise because of one bad movie or episode... like if it's on that small a shoestring of interest then maybe you aren't in the position to be so critical. :P

the Speed Racer movie was amazingly faithful to the anime. and it's one of my favorite Wachowski movies
