Where have you been???

SO! I have just returned from CTN at Los Angeles. It was my first time on the other
coast so that was pretty cool. This weekend was absolutely amazing though. I got to
speak to a lot of people and make a lot of contacts. I had my portfolio reviewed by
some awesome companies such as Pixar, DreamWorks, Blue Sky, AnimalLogic, and
more! For a while I've been lost of how I should put together for my portfolio and
rather, what type of direction in the art world I'd like to take. This trip was extremely
eye opening and for to first time I feel like I have a solid view of where I'm going to go.
The feedback I received was basically, I have the talent and the technical skills, I just
have to focus on my portfolio content. I got some great advice on exactly how to do
that. With this being said, i'm going to try to really kick it into gear and get to work on
my portfolio as soon as possible. You may not see a lot of me for a bit, and what you
do will probably be related to portfolio WIPs. But honestly, this is probably the best
I've felt in my life about actually getting to do art as my living.
