i find it extremely amusing how wacom drivers work absolutely flawlessly on linux right out of the box without installing anything, and they're an absolute nightmare on windows

IKR!!! I have had to install and uninstall it atleast 6 times now and i have ot restart it every time :( so much time wasted

Isn't there a "services" thing to reboot your drivers?

I had the same problems

My tablet does the same thing. You start your pc and it says "tablet not found" or once you open SAI or PS the cursor is moving past and away from the point.

So what i did was i unplugged the USB. I reinstalled the exe. file. Once its done i plug it in and it should recognize it. Open and try it. If it fails then restart.

Install it again with it unplugged. Plug it in and then open the program.

Its a known bug that wacom will never figure out.

Sometimes I just install the exe with it plugged and everything on. Install, no restart.
Then open the SAI and it works.

Just remember it will do it again. And again.

And again...

again.

Forever.

But once you figure out how to do it it just becomes more easier.

Doesnt matter how old or brand new the tablet is. Its always the drivers.

I hope this helps. Sometimes restarting the pc and installing it works. Sometimes it doesnt.

Dont worry about uninstalling and installing method because it doesnt do anything. Which is why i just install it and check. Try a different method and check. Restart then install and check. Repeat.

This is gonna sound silly, but try changing the USB port it's plugged into.

My tablet only works in one back USB port on my computer for some reason, but it works.
