Looking forward to seeing more coz the variety really makes this an interesting read.
Too many people just toss hyenas into the canine bunch without a second thought.
Fun music pick, and man that dance/graphic design performance is awesome. ^^ I love that sort of thing. VK's pick is really fun too, quite catchy. ^^ I always find it interesting to hear what pop music is doing in other countries and cultures.
Jeez, Diablo's animation of these guys https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21801923/ makes me really eager to see what he's got planned for 'em! Beautiful. I love Doublescale's https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21804596/ too... really enjoying that dragon model of his. ^^;
Mmmf, both the ones by Silvixen.... completely agree with your comments. Those are both wonderful. ^^
And finally, the highlight is always such a fun thing. :) It's become such a neat part of the Post for me, this chance to kind 'meet' the artists and characters behind so much of what we see, and get a greater look at how much diversity is out there, different ways of enjoying paws and art, and the different backgrounds people come from. And I'm very much with Kampfer on the issue of hearing people say they can't draw! I always do all I can encourage people to just give it a try. None of us could draw when we started.
ARG... the dance piece was astounding! I showed both CAThulu and my mate that and they both had the same "WHOA" reaction. It's such a beautiful routine - an amazing use of technology that still has a huge theme of humanity to it.
*nodsnods* Both those renders are amazing. I like that we're seeing a rise in really high quality render stuff.
Glad you enjoyed another highlight as well - Kampfer's words were wonderful in that sense. :) I look forward to having his help with things too - I'm actually kinda shocked that suddenly I've got this good sized team now! I hope it makes for all the better stuff moving forward. ^_^
The dance routine was awesome. ^^ I've seen performances a bit like that in Eurovision once or twice, but nothing at quite that level. It's such a cool idea that I hope we see more of.
And yeah, I'm really happy that you've got such a great team working with you on the Paw Posts now! I just feel kinda bad that my own schedule is a bit too erratic for me to feel like I could reliably help out too. ^^; It really feels like the Post is quite an event now!
And yes! The Post is starting to feel like a real production. :3 I... just need to get better at "managing" it now. And don't worry - your commentary and feedback IS helpful! Feedback is what this production is always lacking in.
As far as Black Friday goes in particular... generally people just need to not be absolutely psychotic, so that's kind of a catch-all, but I feel like a lot of the responsibility falls on the store when they use sale practises that encourage that sort of behaviour too. More stores here are figuring it out at least, like having their Black Friday sales be online only and then you can come actually pick up the item in store whenever you want during the week. So that works a bit better!
That's one thing I do try to always do! I don't think I've let many Paw Posts go by where I didn't comment on 'em. Just wanna be sure I'm showing my appreciation for all that you do. :) Because it's wonderful stuff.
I've got a tie for favorites again..
Tazra's feature is beautiful -- there's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cluttered, and tells a story all on its own; just a glance tells the viewer what's happening, and it looks like everyone's having a great time here, haha!
Kero_Tzuki_'s feature is so gorgeous; I love the shading and how soft the character looks; they're SO GOOD at giving characters volume and life, and this is a wonderful example of that! :D
YES... oh wow, VK and I were both oogling Kero's one. I can't even put my finger on what it is, but I love the style and the look of it. I mean yes, nice footpaw and all, but just overall - very expressive, natural and fluid sort of style and a very pretty lady.
Kero's style is one that I really really enjoy, and it's for all the reasons you listed - it's fluid and expressive, and just looks *right* haha. The characters are so alive; even with the stylization, they look like they could breathe at any moment. :D
And YES - that's it, right there; the "alive" factor! Love that about a well done character. ^_^ Not many artists can pull that off, and YOU are one of them; that pic of VK's Mitch was.... OI.... wow - like could just step off the screen at any moment.
Find of the day right here! XD
It'seems super cool you do this!
