Last night, at 12:06 am, my cat Halley died in front of me.
It was so unexpected, I didnt think shed die so suddenly. Its hard to type this or think of what to say..

I feel guilty, because I had been paranoid that something was wrong with her. She was having a hard time breathing recently, I was going to ask my parents if we could take her to the vet and I feel like its my fault I hadnt asked sooner. I thought that might have just
been normal, she was an old cat, yknow..? That kind of stuff happens when youre old. But I waited too long and she died.
It feels too soon. I thought she had a few more years. I thought she was going to live longer.
I love you Halley. I'll miss you so much.

She was a good cat, she was the best cat anyone could ask for.. I have this picture of her too.
Im not sure how Im going to cope with this. I know its going to take me a while to grieve. I wish I could take a break from art for a while, but I have art I owe people and I need to start making money. I probably wont be very sociable for a while.
This has been such an awful year.
I think Im going to be drawing her a lot for a few weeks to commemorate her. I'd be deeply grateful if anyone else draws her as well.
