Midwest Furfest 2016
General
Unlike last year when I suffered a knee injury that prevented me from walking properly and driving long distances I'm in good shape for making the trip to Midwest Furfest this week in Chicago. I've been looking forward to it for a long time now and I hope I'll get to see all the familiar faces and enjoy some good time and company.
For those who didn't read my previous journal, I'm now back to working fulltime and so MFF and Anthrocon are likely to be my only two convention appearances going forth. It's been a great experience getting to attend upwards of six conventions a year (Further Confusion, Furry Weekend Atlanta, Motor City Furcon, Califur, Anthrocon, and Midwest Furfest) but now that I'm back working fulltime I can't spend my vacation time doing that many conventions anymore, so if you wanted to meet up and chat, MFF and AC are where I'll be.
I'm going to be situated in the G-rated Artist's Alley for the entirety of the operating hours, so it should be easy to find me unless I make a quick break to see what's going on in the other rooms. I'll be taking commissions as usual (pencil / ink / color sketches and badges) and I'll also have my vehicle stickers and the "Shock & Awe" stickers some of you may have seen. In addition I always have with me a collection of original art from the numerous Funday Pawpet show artjams and the fun sketch doodles that I've just recently been uploading. If you're one of the few who still buy art prints I'll have some of those on offer as well. I aim to entertain so please stop by and feel free to chat and visit, -it's a huge pleasure of mine to meet new people.
I'm going to be arriving in Chicago on Thursday morning and will be staying through until Monday afternoon. I usually end up working on my daily homework from dinner hours until 3am so I probably won't be able to visit much in the evening, but if you've got my contact information and want to meet and visit give me a buzz.
Beyond that, I hope everyone has a grand time and I look forward to seeing y'all!

Man, I remember the days of going to furcons. Nowadays you kids have all these new-fangled contraptions like horseless carriages to help get you there.

Don't get too smug about your youth there, sonny. I also remember when your website featured the Letterman fox. Seems that was close to the same era. *caneprod*

I was looking forward to meeting you last year, but unfortunately you couldn't make it. I've been a long time fan of your art and I would like to get something from you this convention. Looking forward to seeing you there! :)
