Commissions are OPEN
If you are interested in commissioning me, come drop me a line! Let's see what we can make together! https://forms.gle/rWtK2fLXYUkNzPvo8 So I haven't been doing all that well as of late. I ended up going to the hospital last night because I've been unable to concentrate, forgetful, unable to focus, light headed and dizzy for...a while now. A week and a half ago, I came home from work and drank the last sip of coffee that I'd left in my mug, which has never caused a problem before, but I ended up really sick to my stomach and ended up having to call out of work the next day. About halfway through the night, I got really light headed like I'd been given a very small shot of morphine, or as if I were suddenly kind of high. The nausea wore off over the next day or so, but the light headedness et al hasnt. So, I went to the hospital last night because a week and a half of feeling like that is really disconcerting and actually quite worrying. They drew blood, did an EKG, a ct scan, urinalysis, physical neurological exam, and found...a lot of nothing. The doctor said that there's quite a long list of things that could cause what I've been feeling, and they were able to cross off a lot of things, but they still didn't have a clue what was actually causing it. I ended up with a ten day prescription for Antivert and a phone number for both an ear nose and throat place as well as a neurologist. The doctor said that I'm actually quite healthy for the shape that I'm in, so he's kind of at a loss, but he wanted to give me the script to see if it might be an inner ear thing because that's apparently hard to spot even with a ct scan?
Sooo that's kind of where I am. I haven't been able to fill the script for the Antivert, and I'm actually kind of scared to do so because of the probably astronomical cost.

FA+

I find this funny as I was going to buy some on the way home and forgot to get it. I've seen it over the counter at Walmart...
Uh if I remember correctly antivert's more or less just dramamine, which you can definitely get over the counter and is pretty cheap as wulphram said. Like the dosage is probably different than any you'd pick up, but if filling the perscription's worrying I'm sure any antiemetic you can get your hands on'd work? They're more or less the same, the brand effects the price much more than the actual content.
I'd focus more on getting an appointment for tests than worrying about the prescription. I mean, you don't /need/ to fill it if there are alternatives and in the off-chance that this is something more serious it's really for the best you get it looked at sooner. I'm sure you already know this but, yannow.
If you need anything, please let me know, okay?
Definitely hope someone can get ya some answers soon.
I hope things get better for you! it's no fun.
I am going to be trying that starting this weekend once I know I won't over sleep for work.
I'm sure it would have been cheaper to get it at Winn Dixie, but they recently shut down their pharmacy, so whatcha gonna do.
Not hugely expensive at least. Have you tried to see of they work yet, that's what matters, really.
