That's not true in the least bit, there's tons of artists on here with amazing skills that stay away from porn. You have be good enough for people to want your art first, porn's just easier.

The key word of the day is, PANDERING. Thats what makes people more popular. Nothing but pandering, porn is included but there are a lot more examples. Hit new game/book/moive *blank* features animal or animal like creatures. Taking advantage of its popularity is how most arist seem to get big. Is this wrong or right? Not sure as its existed forever.youll notice that a lot of artist rose from huge fandoms like MLP. This is why "FANART" is so popular. People like to see their favorite things in other styles. You'll even notice some artist who started small and simple then drowning in memes and fandoms. Its sad in my eyes for so much wasted potential.
