December Work
I'm going to be delayed throughout December due to this certification course.
I'm going for the COMP TIA A+ computer certification, with the intent of achieving the CISCO Certified Networking Associated and Professional Levels afterward.
If you have any tips or advice, hit me up!

Which CCNA are you trying to achieve? If it is the traditional CCNA (now the CCNA Routing and Switching), I would recommend Cisco Press's CCNA Routing and Switching Official Cert Guide Library, which contains the books and some great simulation software to practice on for this certification and CCENT. If you need more simulator software, I would recommend Boson Software's NetSim Network Simulator. If it is the CCNA Security you are after, you should get a Security+ and a CCNA Routing and Switching first because a CCNA Security renewal will renew a Security+, a CCNA Routing and Switching, and CCENT. You will need a CCNA Security class lead by an instructor, Cisco Press's CCNA Security book, and some e-learning at https://learningnetworkstore.cisco......ns-v3-0-019451 because the e-learning course is great because it gives you much more lab time than the instructor-lead classes give you, and each route of learning has some holes that are filled by each other. The CCNA Security test is so tough that many people fail it often before they pass it, and an instructor might be able to help you with weak spots you discover while taking the test. However, the ICND1 test which is needed for CCENT certification, and the ICND2 test which requires an active CCENT certification before you are allowed to take it and grants a CCNA certification, are easy as long as you did a reasonable amount of preparation. (You could take the CCNA test, but why would you want to skip the CCENT certification that the ICND1 test gives you by going that route? The CCENT certification could help your resume because some people might look only for a CCENT and not a CCNA.)
I just got done with the COMP TIA A+ class, and I'm due to take the 901 and 902 exams in the very near future. The university is even paying for it!
Next will be the CCENT course which starts tomorrow...allegedly. There's only 2 people registered for the course, however. XD But at least that will give me some more dedicated instruction.
The issue is balancing work with sleep with the course itself...a 39-hour-work week with late-night clockouts is...not conducive to doing alot much else...
