Yooo can I nip this in the bud

So I've been drawing good ol' Brionne the past few days and I'm really happy that people like it! Um something I had no idea existed was this big thing about people defaulting it to "female" because its a more femme looking mon? (Bullshit btw, I personally am not a fan of people favoring pokemon one way or another based solely on the way they look and I like to subvert that usually)
I want to mention this though so that it's out there instead of just buried in my TOS: I am personally very uncomfortable with words like shemale, cboy, trap, herm (hermaphrodite is ..more of a gray area for me), idk you've probably heard the list of terms before. I know there's a lot of controversy on this but for me personally they represent taking very diverse characters and reducing them to their set of genitals for fetishization, whether intended or not.
As someone whose fursona has shapeshifting/multiple components of genitalia and IDs as nonbinary, this is a very confusing and complicated line for me to draw, and I'm not always sure where to draw it. But to be safe I would prefer that, if you can remember, you please not use these words in conversation with me? They really just rub me the wrong way, though I truly believe that usually no harm is intended.
I'm also open to discuss this but I don't really have the energy for a big ol debate and I'm hesitant to even post this journal. Literally the only reason I'm saying this is in hopes that I can state my policy on this now and avoid confrontation in the future.
Thank you so much for understanding and if you have any questions or concerns, I will try my best to clarify, though like I said this is a big messy subject for me and I may not always have a concise answer.
TLDR I am happy to talk about and draw characters with whatever the fuck genitalia or ID or WHATEVER, I am uncomfortable with describing these characters with words i have seen used to "dehumanize" them

Look, I mean no offense by this, but you draw porn. For a lot of the people on this website, these characters are nothing more than wank material, and while that does suck for artists trying to create memorable characters, it's just the way this fandom works. People mostly see these characters for their outward appearance, because that is often all they are; just art.
This aversion to gender descriptive words has always confused me. People naturally categorize things to give the world they live in some sense of order and direction. You categorize yourself as non-binary because you don't feel comfortable being placed in what the world at large considers the only two options, and that's fine. But you, as an artist, are not your gender, and people aren't going to see you as your gender. They'll see you for what you create.
I would also like to clarify that sex and gender are two separate concepts. Your gender is not what's between your legs, and neither are you. However, on a site where people spend a lot of time looking at and commissioning porn, having easy to use terms to describe genitalia is an absolute necessity, as is coming to terms with those words. Now if you want your characters to be seen as more than just wank material, then it's your job as an artist to give them appreciable qualities that appeal to people in more ways than just arousal.
I've been on this website for six years, and there are only 149 people on my watched list, you included. Now, I did watch you for the porn, but if that were the only thing I followed you for, then my watched list would be a whole lot bigger. You're art stood out to me in a way that a lot of art didn't, and while I'm not eloquent enough to put that into words, I certainly believe that you can make something interesting enough to garner some attention, even if there is nothing get aroused over.
Hi there! No offense taken. I understand pretty well that this is not an issue for most people following my work. That I don't mind.
On one point, I do want to clarify that I don't mind if people look at my art and don't give a shit about the characters or their personalities. Not everyone is here for that, and honestly if that was all that mattered to me, I don't know if I would be drawing this much porn.
If this makes sense, I don't really have an aversion to gender-descriptive words. It's just certain words that make me, personally, uncomfortable. (Other people too, I'm sure you've seen, since you mention seeing this discussion before.)
For example, the word trap is an easy one for me to articulate why it really rubs me the wrong way. I know most people use it as a fun little poke at the expectation of what kind of body someone has based on their dress/presentation, only to be surprised by a dick. But what bothers me about it is that you're taking a character with a femme presentation and a penis and saying you tricked (or "trapped") me into being attracted to them because I didn't know they had this specific genitalia. And I understand why that doesn't bother a lot of people! But all I can think about are friends that are very dear to me that fear being rejected for that very same scenario, and when they hear this word (and other similar concepts) they hear their fears and insecurities turned into a joke that isn't always so lighthearted.
I also understand the concern of needing easy terms to describe genitalia and for a lot of porn browsers that is indeed important. As I mentioned in the journal above, my sona has fantasy genitalia and tbh I'm still searching for the right terms to use for her. The current lexicon leaves me dissatisfied, though. I think better alternatives can and have been found that don't happen to make light of, or insult, the experiences of real-life people that happen to be viewing this porn as well.
What is really boils down to is that I just don't have all the answers to these issues. I absolutely don't pretend to know for sure what the best way to proceed is. My purpose in making this journal wasn't to convince anyone to agree with me 100%, and I apologize if it came across that way? (I'm not always the most eloquent person w words) I mainly wanted to state as publicly as I could that I, personally, am really uncomfortable with these words- something I know is not true for everyone- so that in the future if I don't engage in conversation with comments that use them, now people know why. And my hope was to dispel the use of these words in conversation with me for those that feel comfortable doing so.
I have no expectations whether or not people will actually oblige. I'll honestly be surprised if people do. And I half think myself rude for making the request, but I wanted to say something to let people know where I stand.
I hope at least half of that made sense.
