New Twitter, Post MFF, and plans for 2017

Ok, this is 3 things all rolled into one update so bare with me!
First of all, upon going to MFF I realized that everyone and their grandmother has a Twitter account. I know that I have made one before but I sadly forgot the information for it, so I made a new one!

Long story short: MFF was amazing and I don't want to return to normal life.
Some of the highlights were meeting some of my favorite artists and even being offered to do an art trade/print trade with one of my inspirations (!!!) and meeting up with friends from across the country. I also made some new friends along the way and had an amazing time with my eccentric roomies
I'm so inspired by everything that I have seen at MFF. The artists alley and dealers den were full of wonderfully talented artists. I probably have made more mental plans to commission people than I can ever afford right now, and I'm hoping that in the future I will have the ability to binge on art and crafts at the convention.
I would also really like to see myself as a seller at conventions in the future. After meeting and talking to so many artists I feel very intimidated but also inspired and motivated.
That being said, I am going to be closing for commissions indefinitely in early 2017. Aside from the enormous task of creating artwork for my senior show, I really feel that I must take the time to do artwork for myself instead of spending most of my time and energy on commissions. There are many new things that I want to try, but due to work load I almost never have time for it. I appreciate everyone who has liked my artwork enough to commission me so far, but I really feel that I can do better both for my watchers and myself. I'm hoping I can have enough conviction to stand by my decision, but as always financial need is a huge motivation behind me taking commissions. I probably will not fully close until late January when the Spring semester begins, and afterwards there may be a possibility of special slots and YCH's as time and inspiration allows.

Awww, I met you at MFF this year with it being my very first con and I was very impressed with your art. I do understand what you mean so I hope I get a chance to get a commission before you semi-retire!
