Trying to take it slow this time, learn from the mistakes of the past and take my time to get to know someone better before rushing it again.
#1 It's freedom to literally just focus on you as much as your able (your job, your house, your food, your emotional and mental growth).
#2 My emotional and mental needs are mostly filled by my friends.
This probably stems from my romances being just like advanced friendships;
If I grow into someone as a real friend, I pretty much assuredly love and cherish them deeply. My friend group is a close knit pack who love, defend, and support each other so even when I'm not seeing someone I have people there for me and I don't miss romance.
Casual friendships, naturally are a confusing and difficult thing for me to maintain. I just don't really understand how to not advance a casual friendship to a full-blown friendship if the dynamic works.
Also thus far the only thing separating the definition of my romantic relationships and my friendships has been physical intimacy. Which is what I do miss when I'm out of a relationship. I miss eyelid kisses, I miss tracing my fingers over the other persons knuckles, I miss explicit relations. /shrug/
