December 5th 2011. The day my family was sent reeling into the mess it has become. The day my father lost a piece of himself, and the day I lost my mind. For these years I recovered, then finally seeking therapy to undo the rot of not letting go. To this day, I still dream about her coming back, awaking and hoping it not a dream. But reality remains, and she still sits in the earth to this day.

One day I will heal. One day I will look back with a bitter sweet smile remembering the good days. I only wish I could see her one last time...
