Try Discord, its what skype is but without literally all of the bullshit.

But i just wanted to let people know i wont be adding anyone else to skype because im sick of it and only have it installed still for like....2 people

I use the web browser Skype it seems to run a lot faster and there aren't any ads. Discord is indeed a better idea to use though.

Hrm, I know how much Skype sucks. I would quit using it alltogether if I didn't still have like, 3 people who refuse to use anything else for inexplicable reasons

Heck, I'm on telegram a majority of the time myself.

Personally i don't like telegram that much because it's essentially just a mass texting app, and i dont want to give out my phone number

well, not everyone gets to see your number. you can choose to share your contact details with someone, but Very few people do. I enjoy using it because it doesn't drag down my phone with clutter.
