~Rasta:
A week ago I woke up from anesthesia realizing that I actually didn't die during the surgery...
So sorry for this dramatic beginning. Had to! The opportunity was too good to waste it! :D Dying during such a simple surgery would be a bad luck. But yes, I did had a surgery. Nothing serious, don't worry. Laparoscopic gallbladder removal, reason: gallstones. It went smooth. I have four new holes in my stomach and now I'm slowly returning to normal activities.
I wanted to share one thing with you all. It's interesting how many different thoughts such a simple surgery brought to my head. I'm happy that it all went good. I'm glad that I was given this opportunity to experience a bit of suffering and fear when I was laying after the surgery, unable to move much, being afraid to even take a normal breath because of pain. That single day was a torture, but I'm grateful for that. It taught me how to appreciate feeling good a bit more.

I was living with my mother and was unemployed, so I had all the time I needed ^^
But since your surgery was laparoscopic, bet your recovery will be way faster than that ;)
I hope the positive realisation would last. It must have been a interesting experience.
Imagine all that spare time you got now when you in recovery, ...... How much Steam play it is :P

Plus a friend of mine recently had to have surgery due to a brain aneurysm. She survived, but lost two years of her memory: including myself.
