That video is very, sadly accurate. Also when cynicism gets to certain depths, it can start to manifest itself as misanthropy. I know this from personal experience. Actually, I should say when a cynic continues to be disappointed, hurt, etc. by people and life in general, despite setting the bar as low as they can manage. In some ways, it even becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
