So after checking my work schedule and the bids I decided to close the auction.
Admittedly after finding out my hours for Christmas week it urged me more to put it off.
Next week I have 2 days off
Week before Christmas I have 1 day off
And with all my running around and the growing pain in my legs I won't have the energy to work on my off days and I don't want my work to suffer cause of it.
So look forward to seeing that YCH and others once the holidays are over cause fuck mang I'm tired!
Who knew not taking anyones money, not planning to take anyones money and needing to postpone due to work and my well being, all while having my current work load empty so I can do my day job and rest without worry.
Yup, I'm a bad guy.
Sorry but this isn't me wanting pity. This is me saying you can do what you want.
I really emphasize with you. I tried to do both art and a full time job. I got hurt wicked bad. I am still recovering and had to have surgery. It's really not worth it to push yourself for a few extra bucks. :(
I hope you can manage to rest your legs and recover.
I hope your full recovery comes soon, that sounds awful!
And yeh, sometimes my ankle tries to give out on me on some rough shifts where I'm constantly moving quickly. Then I have pre-existing back problems that spring up way less but still when they do it just delays all my work cause I have to sit and rest.
But I plan to look for new work once it does calm down. Any job that takes physical toll is not worth it
