Heh, things could be better. Not terrible, but they could be better.

Probably the worst actual issue is the youtube channel I am managing is just dead in the water, and I can't get things going.

I know that feeling. It doesn't help they changed the algorithm a little. Need to be more consistent. D:

The demand they are supposedly presenting is not even possible for anyone outside of an established major studio.

The last video I did was 36 minutes in length, not including overall prep time and recording, between rendering and uploading. I spent about 5 hours on that one video. Closer to 7 though when you factor in everything else. And this is without major fancy editing like some guys do.

And if Youtube really thinks that people will do this daily, they are out of their minds.

Yeah...it blows. I can picture some people just doing streams and then uploading the streams to YT to make a consistently large output, but only a few people have that luxury. :/

It's still up in the air if I can stream or not, my ISP is good about most things. But it's given guys like GassyMexican a very hard time.

The other problem comes from well, me. I get frustrated at various games and can't keep from complaining or yelling if my attention is diverted by anything else, even talking to a friend. Not exactly what I would want to be known for, I want to be successful, just not a PewDiePie clone.

Hmm, just make sure to have interesting commentary or humor tossed in, and if you get super frustrated, well, sometimes they want to see it, but try to turn that anger into an improv scene or story or some such. Emotions are kinda what a lot of people want, but I get what you mean.

Let's put it this way, last night while playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it took an incredible amount of will power not to bellow "Fuck you!" at the game as loud as my powerful lungs and voice can go. Good game, just some nasty cheap furstrating bullshit in it.

I find playing games that seem bright and simple bring out the worst in me. See: Old-school Mario games.
