Several occurrences going on after my travels to Chicago. First of, condolences to friends and family of Quasi skunk who was involved in a head-on collision this week. I've been looking at several posts from different furries about him. Even one who danced with Quasi at MFF. That's a scary thought to be with someone days before they're gone.

Second, when I got back home, I get word that the soccer team I work with is rebranding themselves, and along with that, the mascot I play is going to be retired. I've only been with them since September, and I was really getting into the groove of that character. I was mainly brought on to relieve some the load of the main performer and go to some community appearances, though I did get to perform at a couple of games. I'll miss that costume. But the good news is they were impressed with my performances and are willing to keep me. On top of that, they're bringing in a new character. So I'm only out temporarily while they get the new costume in.

Finally, I've been working all year to get a fursuit maker to work on my third character, Sapphire. Today, I've finally found one. I'm in the queue and will have a time frame of the fursuit being finished near the end of next year. So, hopefully next MFF will be her first appearance if all goes well.
