Opinion on a matter

Lights! Camera! Action!
So wanted an opinion on recent commission issue I'm having. I commission a stream piece a couple weeks back that was finished in stream last week. Well after the piece was finished I expected to have the piece sent to me then and there. But nope the artist said it'll take them two days to send it out. Okay....I've never heard of that before but I guess I'll let it slide though it sounds kinda ridiculous to me. Anyways two days go by and no art. I contact the artist again and they apologize saying they've been busy and the piece will be sent by the end of the week. At this point I'm rather pissed now because I don't see what could possibly take so long to send 1 file in a few minutes, let alone a week! I'm really wanting to chew the artist out this point letting them know that this is a pretty lousy practice and that I won't be giving any future business to them as long as they continue to do this.
My question is am I being unreasonable about this or if this is actually the norm for people when they get commissions from artists but have to wait a few days to a week to get the piece even though it's already completed.
Edit: I haven't received my piece yet despite it being completed

The few times that I've gotten a stream piece, I either got it during the actual stream.. or right after it ended.
I mean.. it only makes sense since it was just completed. Probably takes less than a minute to pass it along at that point.
