brushfire had this great idea of doing an advent calendar featuring artists this year. If you have not ran across Brushfire's gallery, they draw a lot of hoofers.

Here's an example with a unicorn and a deer shark. Beautiful colors in both the foreground and background. Great show of background with the trees and mountains fading into the background. I like the details in the grass and figures here. Both figures are well grounded in the image and modeled. there is a bit of whimsy with the deer shark trying to draw as well.

This one does not feature hoofers, but the concept is great. Anthro ostriches are not drawn often.. Their long necks and legs are kept in way that just fits. There is nice flow in this drawing with the movement of the two characters, their interactions and show of emotion.
