I'd say poke the Cartographer's Guild forums. Place is full of people who love drawing maps, you might have some luck finding someone who'll do so for money.

If you want just a general geographic look, RPGMaker will let you make a SNES RPG style world map.

We use RPG Maker to put easy maps together. Easily maintains a grid system and everything you can make use of!

I don't know much about drawing, except I just took free space images of towns and landscape and rendered them together after I used this baby first: https://donjon.bin.sh/world/ .
There are other map makers and plan makers and campaign makers too, but as far as big maps and maps in considerable size and details I haven't come across other generators with the same capacity. You just need to play around with it.

Some of examples of the results after using the generator and then using space images. With the last two, i simply cut out the part on the generated map that I liked.
