Okay so the other day I found out a cousin of mine was in the hospital...yesterday we were told she was put on oxygen and has IVs coming out of everywhere for fluids and she's also malnourished.

Today my mom told me she is taking a turn for the worse so tomorrow I have to be on call and at the ready to go to my grandmother's house if something happens.

This cousin of mine, to give a bit of backstory, is in her 70's (? I think) and she has looked up to my GMa as her big sister her whole life. And my Gma has known her since she was born and treated her the same.

She has had a lot of mental issues her whole adult life and 3/5 of her children are flat out refusing to see her in the hospital. As is my gma but that's more than likely because A) she's 91 and that's a big trip to go an hour away, or B) she doesn't want to see her in that state and would rather remember a healthier her. (as healthy as she could pass for anyway)

This is in no way me being mean or demeaning her in any way but to be entirely frank she let her mind escape her and she didn't take care of herself well.

All that said she is still family and we still value her.

I'm hoping she turns this around. I and the people around me have lost too much in the way of close friends and family this year.

If something does happen I will be away from my computer for a majority of the day tomorrow and will /try/ to bring it with me to do work offline.

My sister is also on call to go to my gma's house so she'll be able to help watch James if I need to work.
