It wasn't a lack of interest, trust me I love the idea. It's just my digital techniques don't lend themselves to using a palette. As something fun it'd be a great thing to do but as a commission I feel it would simply take more time for me to figure it out than it was worth in money.

So in essence I started writing an essay-length reply but as it turns out it’s perhaps a bit too rant-y. Basically though, I enjoy getting smaller commissions from people before I think about investing a lot of time/money into a big commission, so perhaps something like the headshot sketch you did for me once, or the icons (even flat icons?). Then the key would be to not overload on them, but to do them cheaply and quickly enough to perhaps use them as warm-ups or similar.
(This is all just words though. Just...thoughts.)

I am 1000% interested in a comic page if you do them though, because yessssssss.

As for the others, also interested in a pin-up, but I might need to wait for the new year for my funds to replenish first!

You have the added bonus of having access to CFG commissions though. The pin ups will be available there so long as I pull up an example by then.

Ohohoh yus well there is that. I've just realised that CFG will be my off-pay week though (I get paid fortnightly) so I will need to remember to save some up for then!

Comic pages sound interesting. I'll be keeping an eye on what they're like :D

You could do what Higsby does sometimes for commissions. He takes artistic freedom commissions where his clients send him a ref and a song. Pretty much you draw something with the character based on the song you were sent. It could involve the meaning or mood or anything of the song really.

I just think it's a neat little form of artistic freedom and would love to see you try it at some point
