Wait....I still watch the guy! What happened? There was a journal from 4 days ago too.

He had a heart attack last night caused by complications from that sickness he's had the past few months. He died in his sleep.

that's...not right....what was he sick with? Not to mention he was faving things up until yesterday....

He was Suffering of Pneumonia/Bronchitis for some months, mostly carring the sides effect of it, cough, bothering, trhoath problems, etc. but seems some of the problems that he carried due it pushed his heart to a limit.

I had no idea it was that bad from something we often get everytime this season, it isn't even Christmas yet...

I know, but it makes it all the more important to always let people know we care. There's never any way to know which day may be our last. But, I don't think Alex would want us to be sad too long. He loved laughter and fun and would want us to remember all the good times.

I'm kinda upset because he's on my watch list, I didn't talk to him enough....

See I talked to him but eventually the talking tapered off....in any case when someone on your watch list dies (he wasn't exactly old either!) it's surprising.

I did. We actually got to hang out together a couple times. I'll really miss him, though I know he wouldn't want me to be sad. *hugs*

The main thing is that from the sound of it, he didn't suffer (too much). It really is very hard for your body to die, and the act of dying can be extremely painful, difficult or even traumatizing. The fact that apparently he died in his sleep gives me hope that it may have been relatively quick and painless. While it is still an incredible loss, especially for his close family and friends, at least we know that he himself did not suffer too much pain, nor for too long (if the post-mortem examination is correct). I understand this is not much consolation to the people who have lost him, and this is understandable, but I hope that mourners take into account that the deceased did not suffer nearly as much as he could have. I know from personal experience how difficult, stressful and physically taxing it can be to die, or to even attempt to die, so for the people who do end up dying, the least I can hope for is that it was a relatively straightforward and un-stressful act, otherwise I KNOW how painful and stressful and unpleasant it could be, and I don't wish that experience on ANYONE.

I'm sorry for your lost

I didn't even know who this person was. It is very sad that he has passed away, however, the least amount of solace can be gained from the fact that he passed away in his sleep. Hopefully he did not feel any particular stresss/discomfort when he was unable to receive enough oxygen, and was able to move past the veil without too much pain.

The hardest part will be for his close family/friends or whoever found him. To them I must say, it will be hard to adjust, but eventually you will figure out how to carry on living without BentPropplprod. It won't be easy, and it won't be fun, but it will just be inevitable. Every now and then you will remember something they said/did, and feel bad about their passing away, and this is good! It shows your humanity when you miss someone. You won't be able to do anything about their loss, but the fact that you can remember them means that they are still somewhat alive, in a weird philosophical way, in your mind. Keep remembering them every few months, so that they remain a significant part of the world, or at least the world of art.

I never really got to know the guy but I'm sure I'd seen him around FA or other areas of the fandom. I'm sorry to see his passing.

I'm very sorry to hear and my sincere condolences. I talked to him briefly many years ago and he was always sweet and I admire his clarity of world and characters as well as the sense of fun and optimism in all his work.
