And you win. The Undertale fandom isn't "cancer" any more than any other fandom. It's a subgroup of idiots that make the rest of 'em look bad. But, y'know, it's easy to just write off an entire group of people as being terrible.

Actually a lot of people I've met love Undertale. I think its just a case of misery loves company, and they try taking it out on artists... sucks, but that's my theory

Or it could be due to Undertale's immense popularity. It makes the people that don't like it scream louder because they feel like they have to convince the lesser (coughhighercough) minded that they have to agree with their opinion.

G+ is literally a warzone where people attempt to use alt accounts to get promoted on communities and they raid each other.

In all seriousness I posted a response to a critique thread on Deviantart, made the mistake of posting a mature piece of Renamon, and the person freaked out about the character and they called me a pedophile because she's from a kids cartoon. They then went to the complaint forum and I was the talk of the town for a month. That person was a complete ass, and I'm a little more cautious about posting my mature work to the forums there now because I might run into another SJW like them.

Ive only posted one piece of fanart on Steam and it was one of my Dust AET pics. It received one or two good comments but nothing special. I dont intend to post more pictures there anyway. It was more of a test tbh.

I've seen far worse without the mature content filter on it. My rule of thumb is as long as it doesn't have nips or a vagina it isn't mature content. A similar thing happened to me with this piece http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19784155/ again the person called me a Pedophile, seriously a lot of these people resort to that insult.

I doubt most kids know what's going on, and it's pretty natural to look at sexualized work or even porn after someone starts going through puberty, I remember drawing crude boobs a lot when I was 12. The only people who get offended are the ones who think all porn is evil and that anything that is sexualized is automatically porn.

It's actually somewhat common practice with kids shows and movies to add in hints at sex or other mature subjects that would fly over kids heads in order to make the show more entertaining to watch. Disney was especially good at this, though it's pretty obvious now. Loony Toons did it a bunch as well. Then looking at current day you have MLP which did it way too much and pretty obvious which caused THAT cancerous fandom.

However in the case of Digimon, that was simply meant to be in Japan and marketed towards teens/adults as an anime, but the US stepped in and said nope we need to make it a kids show. So of course there's still some more violence, sexual looks, and some other adult concepts that might occasionally seep past the filters or just have to be left in for the sake of things.

dA is one of the worst sites on the internet for art. It's full of SJWs, apparently there are mods that remove and ban anything homosexual (males at least, possibly not f/f), and it brings out the worst in many fandoms.

Art doesn't need to be marked as mature unless it's pretty much showing a butthole, balls, cock, vagina, or female nipples (arguably); or is clearly a fetish piece (ei: diapers, even if not soiled).

Seriously though, I've seen "worse" than both those pics in kids cartoons. Hell, in Digimon Tamers Renamon clearly had a bust and an ass (despite claiming she's gender-neutral lol) and no one batted an eye.

Yeah DA can be pretty bad, though I still consider it second to this site for posting art. Though I run into a lot of cancerous people there are a lot of artists who have helped me there as well.

Haters, nah, just average day assholes. All fandoms got them and they love to attack things such as fan content or fan opinions that isn't related to what they are fans of for any reason they can find.

Undertale for example was originally a low end indie game that was actually good and gained massive support and so it became mainstream. This makes other indie developers and their games fans jealous and thus target Undertale due to its success. Even indie developers themselves can be pure assholes, such as the one that tried to sue a lot of steam users for bad reviews.
