Christmas at home alone

Like the journal says, I'll spending it alone at home because I'm a bit sick. Our plan at home was to go to my step-dad's sister's house for an Xmas dinner, and even though I could have gone, when you're sick you just want to stay home and not go out.
I suppose that if I get technical about this, I wont be entirely alone. I'll have my 2 cats with me.
