My rant on new US bill passed(read if you care about rights)

Okay, I am thoroughly pissed off at the government here. This new bill passed, without a citizen vote, that all flavored tobacco is illegal and is under the authority of the FDA.
Now, I am not a big smoker, but I do enjoy shisha every once in a while and the occasional pipe tobacco or a grape flavored cigar. But beyond that, this is taking away from our rights. I just think everybody needs to be informed about what is going on in this country. We are being treated like little babies. Their reason for this bill, (which has gone pretty much un-noticed by civilians and the people it effects) is to stop smoking by children, because they say that flavored cigarettes and tobacco is a ploy to get children to start smoking at a younger age. This is also putting a ton of companies out of business, such as hookah bars and small smoke shops.
Read the full bill here, or glimpse over it at least please.

It makes me soooo angry, I just had to share it because apparently its not being made a big deal.

that said, IM NOT STUPID... >.>
1> getting rid of flavored shit... to stop kids from smoking??? It wouldn't work for alcohol and it damn sure wouldn't work for smoking... take it from someone who drank as a kid!
2> no advertising near schools... THATS AWSOME! HELL YES!!! now... force zoning laws that reduce ad costs in those zones for family advertisements, and you're set...
3> regulate the chemicals and additives... good idea! as long as it doesn't go overboard... like #1...
4> gets rid of incentive programs??? you mean like the Marlboro Miles program? okay...thats odd...
5> warnings must cover 1/2 of the package??? LISTEN TO ME! YOU SPEND YOUR EARLY LIFE LEARNING THAT SMOKE IS BAD TO INHALE (among other "safety tips"), WHY WOULD CIGARETTES BE ANY DIFFERENT! if you smoke, and DONT realize its bad for you...you deserve lung cancer for being a moron...thats wrong, nobody deserves cancer...but still, you get my point...
OKAY! now class, we're going to learn a little about corporate conspiracies... this is your study sheet, there will be a test on Friday...
1> Who was the #1 c orporate sponsor of this anti-smoking bill? Phillip Morris USA, the manufacturer of MARLBORO CIGARETTES
2> Is the above corporation's primary product base affected by this bill? No, it is not
3> What does this sponsor have to gain from this bill being passed? Goodwill from the people of this nation interested in safeguarding its citizens?
WRONG DUMMY! 25 point deduction from your score, it affects the majority of the corporation's competitors negatively...so the gain this corporation gets is PURELY CONSUMER ADVANTAGE!
4> Wait, what about the Marlboro Miles program, why would they sponsor a bill that conveniently bars the further practice of such an expensive and tedious consumer reward program? Nothing sacrificed, nothing gained?
you're a moron, and you fail the test... get out of my class
do you actualy expect the government to hearken to the cries of kittens in a box? because that's how they see us. only if we have firearms, and USE THEM will they listen. either that or vote the suckers out of office
it's all about their own POWER, and what they can get away with. period.
We have four boxes used to guarantee our liberty: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box and the cartridge box.
we need to start using them against the people who are trying to take ALL FOUR BOXES away from us.
Our Military paid for our freedom in BLOOD, and that blood is all over the hands of the folks in Washington right now.
(I do not mean to argue religion with you, but our founding fathers believed in god, and even if you do not, I do)
I'm saying George Washington must have done so.If he were here today and see all this madness, he'd be jabbing them with a bayonet.
Normally, I try to not rile up a religious argument, unless someone actually provokes me in doing so. Then, it's go time.
that's all
