Congrats on your shaper kill. I've been having trouble getting to him myself, game won't let me go past tier 14 maps. z.z

I actually purchased all four of the Tier 16 maps to beat the Guardians, then challenged the Shaper that way. My first time I failed, the floor was completely covered in vortexes and I didn't have a culling strike setup. Funny enough I killed him there at the end with a driftwood club from the start of the game, which I found horrendously amusing.

I've only gotten maybe 3 volcano maps myself and two core maps. I spammed Chateau like crazy and then crafted up Sulfur Wastes up into Volcano, and I actually corrupted my Volcano into a Core map then beat it. You will probably just need to purchase the maps to get in there to fight him though D:

What build are you running?

Currently playing hybrid life/ES occultist blight CwC essence drain. Running quad curse (warlord's mark, temp chains, enfeeble on blasphemy and vuln from witch fire brew.) I also do abyssal cry+poison for lawls explosions.

I play with my hubby who's doing a life raider physical blade flurry.

That's a lot of curses o.o I thought of doing curses with my setup and even leveled ele weakness to 19/20 for that purpose, but I just never got around to it. Also the damage seems to be mostly OK without it. But that'd be great synergy with a phys build, doing vulnerability with warlord's mark.

I'm running four auras with all the effectiveness clusters, getting a good 6% all res on top of the bonuses to Discipline. Also with Romira's Banquet, I'm getting max endurance charges even on bosses constantly, with a high level CWDT. I leech to full, I take one big hit and I'm invulnerable for three whole seconds for it to recharge again. I face tanked minotaur without flasks even, it was nice :D

Also triple totems on a four link with Rime Gaze get me around 100000 DPS in total before Elemental Overload, and that's with 74% lightning penetration with Vinktar running.

Actually I forgot, I did actually get one of my Phoenix maps as a drop, it dropped from Doedre in Core.
