Nice last 2016 post, loved the Most Pawesome pic! Yes, Charr's have amazing feet, I gotta admit. And nice work by Footpaws, Nommz and Thaz. They know what paws are made for.

And yesss, let's hope for a better year 2017. If we all contribute our fair share to it, it should be possible.

Yeah, Charr have amazing footpaws, so kinda hard to overlook such a paw-centric piece for Most Pawesome. You're right though - lots of other great art. I really enjoy when artists share their WIP and sort of behind the scenes stuff too like Footpaws did. It's a neat way to see some views and details you normally wouldn't.

Absolutely, seeing a pic coming to life step by step itself is amazing, with detail after detail being added. Plus Footpaw's pic shows a nice scene. I wonder how many peeps are now wishing to be a pedal after seeing his pic. XD

A picture telling a story should always be an important aspect of it, but it's one that a lot of artists overlook, particularly if the picture is NSFW - too much focus on the direct act without a little bit of a tale is to why it's important, or how it came to be. Like in your many pieces with Tenchi and Rain, I adore how much passion there is - that there is a lead up and little tale behind them all. Just makes them SO endearing.

I absolutely agree! That's kind of what separates the NSFW category a bit for me -- there's nothing wrong with something that exists just for the sake of being hot, but for me, it makes it so much more impactful if there's a clear connection or reason behind the act being depicted. I've definitely got bias when it comes to my own work, but that sort of bleeds over into my enjoyment of others' works, if I'm completely honest. :'x

There are plenty of NSFW stories on FA that kinda jump right to the point with very little (if any) setup, but just like a well thought out picture, if the story takes time to set up the characters and the scene and the emotional connection that allows the reader to really appreciate what's going on and why, it has SO much more appeal. At least I think so. ^_^ *flops and rolls with you*

Hear, hear on 2016. >..< Jeez, what a year. And as I've whined to you elsewhere, it decided to get personal with me and mine on the way out. Bastard. Sure hoping 2017 is a bit more uplifting! I've usually stayed up until midnight on New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks, but never before now have I framed it in terms of 'I want to watch the year die.' ;D But yes, at least it brought us Paw Post updates and banner art!

Wonderful music picks. ^^ Ride of the Valkyries is such a wonderful classic, and VK's pick really cracked me up. XD Hard to think of a more appropriate song to close the year on... On the other side of things though, TideKeeper's Blue October pick is beautiful and has a really uplifting feel to it. And KampferWolf's RE music is very cool. ^^

TideKeeper's lovely picture is a very worthy Most Pawesome! Very much agree with what VK said - TideKeeper + Charr is just a recipe for immediate awesomeness. ^^ Several great and varied examples of macros being dommy with their paws this week too... man, I would be so screwed if I were a micro. ^^;

Rhyu's http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22124603/ is a favourite too, just all around gorgeous work there. And I love Tartii's Christmas dragon https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22092891/ ^^ And finally Vallhund's https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22118078/ gets a mention because, well, personal relevance. :) Lots of excitable airport meetings with loved ones in my history, so that sort of scene holds a lot of meaning for me!

Sergei is a wonderful guy - a very beloved character that few know much about yet because the huge story that he's in is still being written by VK, but it's OH so good.

Yeah, I forget where I first heard that terminology but it seemed very apt and it stuck. ;) But yeah, major geopolitical elephant in the room aside, 2017 isn't being so bad so far. Just keeping a wary eye on it. And hey, I've got a job interview coming up in a week and a half now, which is the first one I've gotten since I started looking for work last August, so that has me excited.

And yes, it was a great Paw Post all around. ^^ So much awesome stuff eeeee

And yeah, the character highlights are always really fun for that, getting to meet the personalities that various artists create, that I might otherwise not know anything about. Yay for meeting new people, be they real or fictitious!
