So 2016... you were... a thing.

Yes, it's true!
I survived 2016. :P
There are a few moments in particular that stand out about my 2016, and a lot of fun but otherwise forgettable days (since we rarely had the money to do anything). The good thing is it will make for a very short journal. ^^
BEST THINGS ABOUT 2016:
MARRIED
katalina ^__^ (and wedding was awesome!)
HONEYMOON!
Seeing all my friends again (during wedding)
Leaving Yellow Cab for Marco's Pizza (making it by slightly better now)
Developing Jayni more (she has a Twitter now. ;3 Oh, and an Instagram! ^^
Cleveland Cavaliers winning the NBA Championship!
Albany Alphas winning the FBA Champioinship (I will be making art of this! :3)
Chicago Cubs winning the World Series (I'm not a baseball fan, but the breaking of a 108 year long curse is pretty cool)
No deaths in the family, including pets!
Another year with my sweetie! <3
WORST THINGS ABOUT 2016
Trump
No conventions at all :(
TRUMP
Lots of stress because lack of money, wedding planning and car repairs
Little to no furry stuff accomplished
TRUMP
Gatlinburg Fires nearly destroying our honeymoon location (thankfully our cabin was spared!)
Nazis and White Supremacists
We're all fucked because Trump
TRUMP
Did I mention Trump?
Well I won't mention Trump anymore than I already have, and I certainly won't get into a political rant here (Jayni usually has a lot to say on the topic on Twitter though). But I will say because of the whole Trump thing (and I am really scared about that) the ONLY thing that could have saved 2016 as a year for me personally was something huge like getting married. And lo and behold, I went and did just that. ^^ The Cavs winning the championship was really cool too. :3
So overall, in the end, I guess 2016 was not so bad for me. It could have been worse, and depending how things go with our new president, next year will certainly test that theory. But I'm definitely happy to be married, FINALLY to my sweetheart of 8 years. So yay! ^__^
HOW ABOUT 2017?
I have some pretty big plans for 2017. Of course I usually have "big plans" for every year, but I fall off that wagon in the first week and never really get back on. But I plan on making a lot of progress on my art and videos in the next year and hopefully beyond, barring the unexpected. However, if I really can get back on track and get things done next year, that really would be unexpected (given my track record). But regardless, I'm damn sure gonna try!
Expect another announcement on that and more soon. I have to spend the final hours of 2016 at work. Woot... X3
