Personal Update

Sorry about the lack of content from me lately. A couple of weeks ago, my dad fell and was put into the hospital. At first, he seemed fine, but by Christmas, he was only occasionally lucid. He passed away on the 29th, and we had his funeral yesterday. I'll be getting back into things here more, but there may be a little delay. At least I'm home again, now.

Thank you all for taking time to read my posts, favorite or even just look at my art, comment, etc. This year will hopefully be better.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is never easy and over such a holiday seems like even more of a tragedy. I'll keep you and your family in my best thoughts and wishes.

Thank you so much. I debated not saying anything about it, because I really didn't want to push my misery on anyone else. It's been a hard Christmas, yeah.

Nah, sometimes you just need to let it out. I know everyone grieves differently, though. May 2017 bring you some closure and ease the pain of his passing.

Thank you. For the first time in almost two weeks, I can just sit still and listen to music. I had no idea how much I missed doing that.

So sorry to hear this news! I don't know you and certainly don't know how close your family was, but I lost my dad in 2016 as well, to lung cancer. It was - and is - tough. I wish you strength to pull yourself through this, and support your family.

I was very very close to my father. Losing my mother in 2012 was really hard, but this is a totally different thing. I was closer to dad than to mom. Thank you. I'll get through it, I feel sure. I'm sorry to hear about your dad, I hope you pull through this okay, too.
