Anime Dubbing in a nutshell

Anime Dubbing in a nutshell, in the 90's and early 2000's
Original
"I like supaishi kinoko noodles"
---
Funimation
"I like spicy ramen noodles"
---
Saban Entertainment/Fox 4kids
"I like spaghetti"
or
"I like pizza"
---
I love to laugh at those awful dubbing changes, censorship or pointless editings,
that goes way off or not even close to the original script.
Funimation isn't perfect but they go close to original translations or a semi reprise the translations.
when Saban and Fox 4kids... well like the Digimon dubbing, they added in lame jokes,
that wasn't there the first place or Americanize things in badly.

as I like the show as a kid,
but grown up the dubbing didn't age well...
they added lame jokes and puns too.
Then I watch the Japanese sub version,
it was 10 times better and 75% different then the original script.
So yeah, go for original Japanese version,
and only go for the dub version
if they're some what nearly faithful or slightly better, or both
then the original script.
