LiveJournal's servers are now located in Russia rather than the USA. They've also disabled HTTPS through the entire site. If you want to delete your account, back up your entries, delete them all, etc., I've made a very rough guide on Dreamwidth.

I haven't even looked at LiveJournal in almost a decade now. Still, I did appreciate the gift of additional icons you gave me back in the day.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'd mostly forgotten about my LJ accounts. They are blank now. I might totally disable them, but I kind of want to camp on the name... maybe?
