I want to use the Patreon to fund more sprites. I’m thinking of having a new stretch goal of 350 which should give about 120-150 a month towards commissions. I have an idea of basically a reverse auction.
I want artists to come to me with their ideas, I want the artists to make what they want, then I want them to give me a price. I will then pass these ideas onto my patrons (All levels, or maybe this will be a global thing) to consider which artist to hire.
This would…
1.Not allow money to influence the mod, because it’s the artist’s idea, not mine or anyone else’s.
2.Allow a greater influx of higher quality sprites to be used for the mod (WHICH WE CAN SUPER USE SOON, EXPECT AN ANNOUNCEMENT SOON.)
3.Give people not a direct influence but an influence into what goes into the mod, after all you guys play it.
I want feed back, or if you’re an Artist I would like a bid as well. It’s YOUR IDEA and YOUR PRICE. We want you to have fun.
