✘✘✘ I am fashionably late to every party known to man, so let me start off with saying "Happy New Years!" and greetings to any other Holiday I seem to have forgotten that occurred after Halloween! I have never been too good with keeping up with journals..
However I felt that with the start of another year I should set aside a moment to ramble to anyone who wish to listen. A lot has occurred in the past year, and I would like to take a moment to say "Thanks!" - "What's up?" - "Why?" All at once! It will never cease to amaze and surprise me when someone ventures over to this account and gives it a follow. I really appreciate the interest in my characters, and I hope that you guys give the artists I commission just as much support. They are amazing people, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with them and showing my own way of support in allowing them to follow a dream they love. Certainly can't complain with the combined results, they are talented individuals!
With the mention of art, I will say there is quite a back-log! I have always from day one had an odd system for posting commissions. The plan was simple: I wait for the artist to upload the piece initially, letting them get the full view and publicity before adding it to my own gallery. That way when it is posted here, it serves as another way to generate views to the Artist. Unfortunately there is a slight flaw to the plan; If the artist doesn't upload the piece then it may never be seen unless I break the rule or I simply lose track of time and end up with a back-log. Now, I hate to flood people, but then again I'm sure people would like to see more than one posting a Month.. So I will try to remedy this issue this coming year!
Unfortunately commissioning is not something I see myself stopping anytime soon. In my mind it is a charitable addiction. I love seeing my character depicted in another artist's style, and at the same time being able to show them some support and love. However maybe this year I will try and switch things up! For anyone who has managed to read down this far into the ramble, I would like for you to give me an honest opinion on a theme you are most interested in seeing being fleshed out more with either of my main characters. The Fox is a well established tease, but I would like to maybe expand that to something more! Of course, Maybe others would like to be involved in a piece with my characters. Granted this isn't open season, but I am interested in hearing your ideas.
Also on a random note, to those that contact me on Telegram or via notes, I try my best to keep up in contact but let it be known I am a pretty busy person! My profession lately has had me working 6 10's a week, so If I am not at work chances are I am trying to sleep or enjoying a good drink to take the edge off. So my apologies to anyone who has felt ignored, it is not intentional.
