A question for Kemonos and Japanese Artists
9 years ago
Is there a reason or a cultural significance as to why most anthro wolves in Japanese media have blue fur or at least some blue motife about them ?

Based on Raijin's companion, a blue wolf named Raiju, who is said to hide in people's bellybutton, hence when storms are about, people in Japan usually sleep on their stomachs or have their stomachs covered at least.
