I absolutely love it when...

People block you, so you cannot call them out on their bullshit. It is the final hallmark of an idealogue who is so afraid that they may be proven wrong that they would rather cloister themselves from the discussion than accept even the possibility they may be mistaken.
And sadly far, far too easy to achieve these days, when avoidance of criticisim is but a single click away.
This really boils my piss as it is inherently an emotional reaction, and with sad frequency seems to be borne of those who cannot decouple their concept of self from whatever stance they may take in a debate; to them, criticising their beliefs is tantamount to an ad hominem attack. There is no simple discussion of differing views even on the same spectrum, only absolute acceptance or absolute despisal.
This gets played with really heavily in the far right religeous circles and the far left socio-political circlejerk. Trying to talk to either of these extremes from a moderate perspective is an utter waste of time.
I think this is the reason why accusations of bigotry get thrown around so cheaply these days, to the extent that the word has lost its impact. What is ironic is that those who claim to be the most open and tollerant individuals often seem to be the quickest to express a supreme lack of these virtues and engage in the above when confronted with an opposing viewpoint. The fact that is is used in a hypocritical manner seems to be lost on them.

You seem to have a way to make yourself unpopular.
Also I'm not extreme to one side or another.
Won't throw any -isms around, but won't accept inappropriate aggressive responses either. So.... Bye <3.
Congratulations on your display of cowardice and dishonesty. I'll be sure to leave your comment up because unlike you, I value integrity and open debate. Beyond that, I cannot say I will regret your absence.
Fun fact: People can walk away from a debate. It's a reasonable move if the other person just drips with bitterness.
That's what I'm doing <3.
But I digress.
If you keep walking away from debates and all you are accomplishing is to insinuate that you have no confidence in and/or are too emotionally attatched to your ideas to take scrutiny. It shows you do not care about veracity, only preserving the ideology- leaving you on the same level as religeous fundamentalists. In denying the mechanisims of reason you will retreat in the face of it every time, until you are left with nothing but a fanatical likeminded echo chamber that has a distorted and inaccurate picture of reality. That isn't good for anyone, especially not you; you will be ill equipped to be an effective opposition to anyone with salient points to make.
A challenge to you: if you value your ideas, make them stronger. Debate people- discuss issues amicably and try to persuade rather than cast aspersions or imagine you are some moral arbiter with lisence to ignore criticisim. Don't hide behind block buttons, virtue signalling and cutsey snark because each time you abandon the field you cede it to your enemy.
If you really do care about intellectual integrity, I'm happy to talk. If not, at least you yourself the service of asking yourself why are you afraid to do so.
