Why I haven't been able to attend cons abroad

I have been asked plenty of times if i will go to MFF, or FWA or BLFC or Anthrocon. The answer's simple. I live in Australia!
It's just been over one year since I moved out of my parents and bought a house. I'm by myself so it's just me paying off a decent house. I own a cat and a dog who both get spoiled with veterinary grade food. My dog has ongoing medical issues which require expensive food.
I have the money to go overseas or buy suits- but I'm too scared to spend it incase i have to sell the house. I'm waiting till I have paid off at least half, until i do so. I have been working my arse off to pay it off faster. Most commissions go to the loan. I have been brought up to save everything and be save smart. I have applied to a lot of suit makers but its been hard to not say yes.
But I will see you all one day when im more comfortable to spend a heck load of money to attend MFF or FWA. Thanks for the ongoing support!

I also look forward to hanging out with you at a convention in the future! I will do my best to one year come to Australia as well :D
